What’s Good Y'all
I'm Marisa Hattab
Gallups Strength Finders:
I’m so excited that you’ve taken the time to get to know me better. My name is Marisa Hattab, and I'm truly grateful that you're considering me to support you in some capacity. Trust is incredibly important, especially when it comes to the most significant aspects of our lives: relationships and people. When I was a teacher, I often told my students that you can't influence someone without trust. Trust is the gateway to influence. I hope that by learning more about what makes me uniquely me, you'll gain insight into who I am, what's important to me, and maybe even find some similarities that make you feel more confident in inviting me into your life.
Three Influencers and Life Teachers
Linda Cann, My Grandmother:
She taught me the importance of family, servant leadership, sacrifice, and striving for excellence.
God:
My faith helps center me, restore my soul, and teach me how to love, forgive, receive, and be present.

My Children:
They influence how I move, how I show up, and the impact I desire to make. They are my legacy.
My career began as an early childhood educator, and later, I transitioned to teaching 11th and 12th graders in high school. After my time in the classroom, I moved into the nonprofit sector, where I became a mentoring advocate and expert. I also gained experience serving on several nonprofit boards, including two that are especially meaningful to me. As a survivor of domestic violence, I serve as the Vice President of the Nebraska Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence and co-founded the nonprofit Mom Power Inc.
In 2021, I transitioned into the government sector, serving as the Chief Diversity Officer for the largest county in Nebraska. In this role, I developed initiatives focused on workforce development and culture building. Throughout my various roles, I've had the honor of supporting organizations from grassroots groups to national corporations, helping them curate stronger, more cohesive teams by emphasizing the importance of building transformation through culture.
I’m passionate about singing, dancing, and playing the guitar (self-taught!). I'm also a proud mother of three beautiful children and the wife of a kind, nurturing husband from Houston.
Recognitions and Achievements
I am honored to have received several awards:
2024 Aspire to Inspire Martin Luther King Jr. Award (City of Omaha)
2024 Mentor Nebraska's Mentoring Impact Award Recipient
2023 Top 10 Women of Today Recipient
2023 Phenomenal Woman of the Year
Despite all my experiences and achievements, what has helped me the most is learning to be present with myself. As someone who loves to help and stay productive, I can easily lose sight of my purpose. The services I offer are things I've had to cultivate within myself, and now, I share them with the YOU.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to the possibility of connecting with you.
